About the Role

Come join our team at Castlewood located at 1538 N. Old Castle Rd, Nixa, MO 65714! We are looking for someone to:

  • Be an Advocate of Empathy: Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy. Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be a Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Be a Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments like the dining room, library, or resident’s room for daily routines and events.
  • Be a Life Partner: Partner with residents to support all facets of daily life, from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for caring for residents.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the day.
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and recovering from falls.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Pay

Memory Care Support Partner pay range: $18 - $22.75 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
