Memory Care Recreation Assistant

About the role

Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa is seeking a compassionate and energetic Recreational Activities Assistant to support their memory care residents.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning and leading daily, weekly, and monthly activities for memory care residents
• Create and maintain the monthly activity calendar
• Facilitate both group and individual recreational and therapeutic activities
• Support resident transportation needs when necessary
• Build warm, engaging relationships with residents

Requirements

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality
• Genuine desire to serve seniors, especially those with memory loss
• Respectful, honest, and professional demeanor
• Memory care experience is a plus, but not required
