About the Role

Grow your career with Brookdale! Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) — State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) in Ohio — have opportunities to advance into roles such as Medication Technicians (QMAP), Home Care Aides, and Nurses. This role involves working with community management to provide personalized care to seniors, offering resident status updates at the start and end of each shift, and assisting with dining and personal care needs. You’ll also perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing/grooming.
• Check in with residents and offer personalized care.
• Assist with dining and personal care needs.
• Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures as per community policy.
• Provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.

Requirements

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required.
• Must maintain certification.

To support associates in their journey to become a U.S. citizen, Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725 (less applicable taxes and withholding), for qualified associates who have been with the company for at least a year. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Pay

Base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
