Responsibilities
- Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as outlined in the resident's service and care plan.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in a resident's condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
- Eligible to receive vaccinations, participate in daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB Test.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to maintain a respectful demeanor with residents, families, and co-workers.
