Memory Care Caregiver - Part-Time

Responsibilities

  • Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as outlined in the resident's service and care plan.
  • Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Report any observed or suspected changes in a resident's condition to a supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
  • Eligible to receive vaccinations, participate in daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB Test.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to maintain a respectful demeanor with residents, families, and co-workers.
