Responsibilities
- Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as outlined in the resident's service and care plan.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs, ensuring they maintain their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in a resident's condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided to the right candidate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
Qualifications
- Must possess the ability to pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
- May be required to comply with vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
