Memory Care Caregiver

About the role

Solera Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to join the team at Modena Reserve at Kensington. The position requires flexible schedules, including weekends, and is full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Maintain cleanliness, comfort, and safety for residents.
• Accurately document care provided and communicate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist residents with attending meals, activities, appointments, and other scheduled events.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, or assist with moving objects or individuals weighing over 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered).
• Dependable and reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions, including in stressful situations.
• Compassionate, respectful, and professional when interacting with residents, families, team members, and the public.
• Genuine concern for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of older adults and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Experience in long-term care or related field preferred.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of memory care best practices and techniques.
