Memory Care Activity Aide Responsibilities: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our memory care residentsLead and facilitate a variety of activities, including art, music, games, and social events, to promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-beingCreate a safe and supportive environment that encourages residents to participate and engage in activities, fostering a sense of community and belongingDocument residents' participation and progress, providing insight and recommendations to the care teamCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless interactions and support Memory Care Activity Aide Requirements: Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, is preferredTraining will be providedExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring demeanor Why join our team?
