Membership Specialist
About the role
The Membership Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and administering The Soraya's membership program. This includes executing acquisition and renewal campaigns, coordinating member communications and benefits, tracking revenue performance, maintaining CRM records, and collaborating with internal partners to strengthen engagement, increase membership revenue, and enhance the patron experience.
Responsibilities
- Develops and administers The Soraya's membership program
- Executes acquisition and renewal campaigns
- Collaborates with internal partners to strengthen engagement and enhance patron experience
- Maintains relationships with members and acts as primary customer service liaison
- Meets revenue goals as set by Director of Marketing
- Solicits engaged patrons to increase attendance at performances through ticket purchases
- Tracks revenue against goals and reports to Director of Marketing
- Works with Director of Marketing to develop strategies to reach goals
- Maintains financial and CRM records with exceptional attention to detail
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field
- Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in the job description

The position is classified as 1038 / AA/S / Grade 2 with an anticipated hiring range of $5274 - $5597 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The work schedule is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends. The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) but may change based on student and/or operational needs.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $5274 - $5597 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5274 - $7684 per month. The position is classified as 1038 / AA/S / Grade 2. The work schedule is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends. This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period. The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
