Membership Sales Specialist
Job Summary
The Membership Sales Specialist promotes and sells memberships to Thousand Trails, meets sales targets, acts as a Goodwill Ambassador, educates potential customers, and builds awareness of membership products. This role offers opportunities for full or part-time RVers, with a site provided at designated parks. Positions are available seasonally and year-round, requiring occasional seasonal relocation.
Essential Job Duties
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Understand and effectively communicate current membership promotions
- Provide expert information on new membership products
- Maintain relationships with current members to drive referral business
- Implement membership awareness at assigned campground(s)
- Engage with and educate fellow staff to encourage referrals
- Show robust customer service and sales skills
- Be detail-oriented
Experience & Skills You Need
- Sales experience is strongly recommended
- Fast-paced results-orientated sales environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Email, and cloud-based software sales programs
- Quick-study in industry/company specific programs; Salesforce experience a plus
- Collaborative and energetic
- Professional behavior and appearance
- Able to communicate effectively on phone, via email, and in person
- Self-motivated and a strong multi-tasker
