Membership Representative (part-time)

About the role

Join HealthFitness as a part-time Membership Sales Representative at Advocate Good Samaritan health and wellness club in Downers Grove, IL. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective members, helping them discover the value of our fitness center while creating a welcoming experience that drives membership growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members via face-to-face service, phone, text, and email communication.
• Build lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
• Maintain and exceed sales goals and generate leads through prospecting, networking, and member referrals.
• Promote and attend facility social events.
• Serve as a facility ambassador to local businesses, corporations, and community members.
• Provide leadership presence on the floor to assist with issues that may arise and provide coverage when the manager isn’t available.
• Conduct tours of the facility and assist members with account changes and requests.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Adult/Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• 1-2 years previous sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and communicates effectively.
• Passionate about helping others improve the quality of their lives.
• Able and willing to listen to feedback and apply it moving forward.
• Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or relevant work experience preferred.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour plus commission and bonus. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.

Schedule

Hours: 20 hours per week; Tuesday - 9am-3pm, Wednesday- 4pm-7pm, Thursday- 9am-2pm, Sunday-11am-3pm
