About the role

The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) is an outside healthcare sales representative who’s responsible for generating sales leads and memberships by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key local community partners and senior-focused businesses to enroll new patients to ChenMed.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Nurtures, builds and cultivates direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships to generate new patient opportunities year-round.
- Makes home visits and attends community events to share the ChenMed value proposition.
- Cultivates strong relationships with health plan agents, independent brokers, and senior-focused businesses to keep ChenMed as their top provider choice.
- Schedules and conducts sales meetings, referral relationships with Plan agents, and works with vendors to manage event planning and contract negotiations.
- Maintains up-to-date client information in a CRM tool and documents interactions with clients.
- Develops and executes specific broker and partner strategies and plans.
- Engages with new patients through and beyond their first appointment, helping to address and resolve customer complaints and issues.

Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of business-to-business experience or equivalent management experience is preferred.
- Relevant sales experience with establishing and maintaining relationships with business/vendor partners.
Employee Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $38,509 - $55,013, final compensation depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions. Our employee benefits include:
