About the role

The Member Value Personal Banker (MVPB) plays a crucial role in enhancing member relationships and driving financial growth within the branch. This role is pivotal in achieving branch goals by focusing on member satisfaction and expanding the market through various financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with members and prospects to meet sales targets through a consultative needs discovery process.
• Execute defined proactive activities to foster member growth and balance expansion.
• Partner with Financial Group Advisors to schedule appointments for members and assist them with investment needs.
• Identify and cross-sell appropriate products and services like direct deposit, debit and credit cards, and online/mobile banking.
• Make sound recommendations for products and services that benefit members and colleagues, and refer them to business partners.
• Effectively process transactions using FourLeaf systems according to established policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Communicate with members to share information about promotions and services from business partners, and assist them with technology and self-service options.
• Contribute to lobby management by welcoming members, checking in those waiting for platform services, and providing assistance as needed.
• Support the branch by participating in opening/closing procedures, daily reports, audits, and dual control tasks.
• Maintain controls, reconciliations, and reports as required, including verifying currency, balancing cash boxes, and preparing daily reports.
• Stay informed about emerging risks and fraud trends to minimize exposure to members and FourLeaf.
• Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations.
• Continuously enhance sales conversations to build member relationships and drive deposits and loans.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of demonstrated sales and service success.
• NYS Notary Public License.
• NMLS License.
• PC, Windows, and Internet proficiency.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, excellent member service, and time management.

$28.85 per hour plus commission.
