Member Specialist

About the role

This is an exciting entry-level position in our branch network, ideal for candidates interested in working in a teamwork environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

In this role, you will receive paid training on an array of AAA products and services to confidently assist members and help meet individual and team cross-selling goals. You’ll have opportunities to advance with skills-based pay increases, monthly bonuses, and career growth—90% of our managers are promoted from within.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services, including passport photos, road trip planning, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be available during branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (closed weekends and most holidays).

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
• Ability to qualify for Property and Casualty License.
• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or a similar customer service/sales environment.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime and travel locally when necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics.
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines.
