Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls while providing courteous and professional customer support.
  • Resolve member and provider inquiries whenever possible during the first interaction.
  • Explain available benefits, services, and account information accurately.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions within internal systems.
  • Respond to emails received through shared and assigned inboxes.
  • Perform research and complete follow-up activities to ensure requests are resolved promptly.
  • Initiate outbound communications when additional information or follow-up is required.
  • Update case statuses and maintain accurate workflow records.
  • Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting service level expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Assist with call coverage during periods of increased volume.
  • Identify recurring service trends and recommend opportunities to improve processes.
  • Utilize internal technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, healthcare, insurance, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience using CRM, case management, ticketing, or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • High level of accuracy with documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and navigating multiple computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

$20-25/hr

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 10am-7pm
