Member Service Representative-Teller

Join a Team That Puts Members First At North Star Community Credit Union, our Member Services Representatives are at the center of every member interaction. In this role, you’ll deliver friendly, accurate, and professional service while helping members manage their day-to-day financial needs and connect with solutions that support their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members in person, by phone, and through digital channels
• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions
• Aid members with account inquiries, products, and services
• Open and maintain member accounts, including remote account assistance
• Process and disburse member loans
• Balance your cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies
• Support members with general account access
• Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that meet member needs
• Maintain accurate records while adhering to all policies and procedures
• Assist with branch operations, including phones, scanning, filing, and data entry

Requirements

• Experience 1–3 years of customer service, financial services, cash handling, or related experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional communication and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with computers and ten-key calculators
• Ability to build relationships and provide tailored financial solutions
