What You'll Do
- Cross-sell loan, deposit, and electronic banking products to meet member needs.
- Achieve monthly goals for ancillary loan product penetration and sales performance.
- Interview applicants, collect required information, and ensure loan documents meet policy standards.
- Guide members by recommending products and services that best fit their financial goals.
- Process loan approvals, secure collateral liens, and close loans accurately.
- Open new accounts—including checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, and money markets—and verify eligibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending procedures, credit union guidelines, and loan product features.
- Perform teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account maintenance.
- Resolve member inquiries by providing account information, researching issues, and delivering timely solutions.
- Support branch operations by assisting with audits, night drop processing, supply monitoring, and opening/closing duties.
Requirements
- Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months related experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be service-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage a variety of tasks effectively
Pay
Compensation ranges from $17-21 per hour, depending on qualifications, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays 9am-1pm.

This position is on-site at our Lafayette Branch (306 E Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, LA 70508).
