Role Summary
The Member Service Associate (MSA) serves as a resource to members, handling routine transactions, escalating complex issues, and engaging in member relationship building.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide exceptional member service and solve member concerns promptly.
- Elevate more complex transactions to senior positions.
- Converse fluently on financial literacy, products, and services.
- Offer relevant products and services to deepen member relationships.
- Make outbound calls to establish, grow, and nurture member relationships.
- Ensure branch equipment is operational and escalate non-repairable issues.
- Accurately handle transactions, balance cash drawers, and manage reports.
- Assist members with Digital Banking, fraud disputes, and other needs.

- Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
- Make informed decisions to minimize risks.
- Ask open-ended and clarifying questions to understand member needs.
- Show respect and support for diversity in the workplace and among members.
- Complete assigned training programs on time.

- Exercise discretion and sensitivity in assisting with member transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- Some cash handling experience preferred.
- Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.
- Maintain confidentiality, control risk, and manage operations according to company policies.
- Pass a pre-employment credit/background check.
Pay and Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $20.00/hour, with a full salary range of $17.13-$24.57.
