Role Summary

The Member Service Associate (MSA) serves as a resource to members, performing routine transactions, escalating complex transactions, and engaging in member relationship building through various means.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide exceptional member service and solve problems promptly.
• Elevate member concerns and follow up as necessary.
• Converse fluently on financial literacy, products, and services.
• Offer relevant products and services to deepen member relationships.
• Make outbound calls to members to establish, grow, and nurture relationships.
• Ensure branch equipment is operational and escalate non-repairable issues.
• Accurately handle transactions and maintain cash drawer balances.
• Support Digital Banking and assist with fraud disputes.

• Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
• Make sound decisions under pressure.
• Ask open-ended and clarifying questions to understand member needs.

• Complete assigned training programs on time and accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Some cash handling experience preferred.
• Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage operations according to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Pass a pre-employment credit/background check.

Full Salary Range

$17.13 - $25.99 per hour
