MEMBER RELATIONSHIP OFFICER I

About the role

The Member Relationship Officer at our Wisconsin Avenue branch in Appleton is responsible for creating a positive member experience, assisting with consumer lending needs, and educating members on products and services.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold Fox Mission, Purpose, Vision, and Values
• Build and maintain lasting relationships through conversations, anticipate members' future needs, and exceed expectations
• Interview loan applicants and provide underwriting additional information to make loan decisions
• Absorb and maintain deposit products and services, process basic and advanced member transactions and account maintenance confidentially, accurately, and efficiently, and assist members with problem resolution
• Provide education on ancillary loan products, insurance options, and secure appropriate solutions
• Achieve assigned goals
• Offer sound guidance for members' financial needs and refer as needed to partnering teams (i.e. Financial Well-being, Mortgage Lending, Investment Services, Treasury Management)

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of sales and service experience
• Previous financial industry experience is preferred
• Financial Counselor Certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and active listening
• Sales skills in gaining commitment to products and services
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and team members
• Flexible availability, including rotating Saturdays
• Proven attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software
• Bilingual skills are a plus
