Member of Technical Staff, Full-Stack Product at LlamaIndex

About the role

As a Member of Technical Staff, you will lead the development of LlamaIndex’s managed SaaS platform, bridging the gap between open-source innovation and production-grade software. You will architect full-stack solutions using Next.js and Python, collaborate on open-source frameworks, and work directly with customers to prototype and scale AI-native applications that serve millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship the front-end and back-end for managed SaaS offerings using Next.js, Python, and React-Query.
• Develop and maintain key features for LlamaIndex’s core open-source Python and TypeScript frameworks used by thousands of developers.
• Partner directly with customers to design and build production-ready AI solutions, translating feedback into the core product roadmap.

Requirements

• Possesses at least 2 years of professional experience shipping full-stack web applications from initial prototype to production scale.
• Has a proven track record of building and launching AI or LLM-native applications, covering everything from UX to core algorithms.
• Demonstrates a product-first mindset with experience in proactive feature scoping, rapid iteration, and direct customer discovery.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Next.js, Python, and React-Query.
• Experience with open-source frameworks and platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
