Member Contact Center Representative

Use your excellent communication skills to provide professional and personalized service to our members/customers, meet monthly sales and service goals, and earn incentives while learning and growing within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and assist members with:
  • Resolving problems
  • Cross-selling credit union products
  • Rate quotations and negotiations
  • Researching account information
  • Ordering checks, statements, and check copies
  • Quoting savings and loan rates
  • Quoting blue book rates
  • Calculating and quoting dividends (interest) and loan payments
  • Paying off loans
  • Processing payroll deductions
  • Providing general information
  • Setting up automatic transfers
  • Advising members of investment opportunities or options
  • Referring the opening, adjusting, and closing of accounts
  • Cross-selling credit union products
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of customer service procedures at a credit union preferred
• Very effective oral communication skills and patience to work with the public
• Basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts
• Strong personal computer skills, especially data entry
• Ability to cross-sell products and services
