About the role

As a Sales Associate, you will help customers create a home they’ll love while building an exciting career. No prior furniture sales experience is required; we provide a best-in-class training program and dedicated leadership support. Your contributions will help CITY HOME remain a top furniture retailer nationwide and a Top Workplace®.

Responsibilities

  • Help guests design a home they'll love
  • Engage and present various home furnishings and service options
  • Navigate large showrooms and be on your feet 8 hours a day
  • Assist guests in finding the best financing options
  • Prospect and account management
  • Create invoices and schedule deliveries
  • Manage the CITY CRM System

Pay

This is a commission-driven position with uncapped earning potential. Average annual earnings in your first year range between $65,000 and $80,000, with top performers making $100,000 to $150,000. Sales Associates also earn monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses, and participate in sales contests throughout the year.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma from an accredited institution or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible, full-time (40-hour-per-week) schedule
  • Technology fluency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Use of an iPad for training, transactions, financing applications, and inventory checks
  • Florida driver’s license
  • Ability to guide customers throughout large showrooms for extended periods (some showrooms are equivalent to the size of two football fields)
