Medtech Swing

About the role

Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park is currently seeking a Full-Time Swing Shift Medtech to support residents within the community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with seniors and committed to providing an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Requirements

• Current medtech training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Medtech license or two years previous experience as a Medtech.
• Able to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
