Medtech (Part Time Swing)

About the role

Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park is currently seeking Medtechs to support residents within the community. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors and dedicated to providing an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Requirements

• Current medtech training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• Medtech license or two years previous experience as a Medtech.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
