MedTech Device Field Collection Associate - Richmond, VA

Our MedTech Device Field Collection Associate role offers a unique opportunity to collect reprocessed medical equipment in hospitals, working with surgical, non-invasive, and vascular equipment in areas such as Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Departments. This position provides medical experience, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for growth while earning supplemental income and learning about the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned hospitals weekly to collect products to be reprocessed
  • Package and ship product to client manufacturing plant
  • Document and log daily collections totals
  • Notify the local Sales team of shipping supply needs
  • Use provided PPE for all assignments

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted driver license
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
  • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status
  • Up-to-date immunizations as required by healthcare facilities
  • Available to work approximately 8 hours per week
  • Travel locally for up to 2-3 hours to support customer needs (travel time and mileage paid)

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in healthcare, general labor, warehouse, or customer service
  • Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision

Vaccine/Immunization Requirements

A required function of this job involves entering healthcare facilities, which necessitates completing a credentialing process. Immunization requirements typically include:

  • Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine
  • Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
  • Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine
  • Hepatitis B vaccine
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal)
  • COVID-19 vaccine primary series (some facilities require booster(s))

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, and schedule.

No relocation is offered for this role, and candidates must live locally. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
