The RHÖN-KLINIKUM Campus Bad Neustadt is known for comprehensive medical care in the rural area. With around 1,700 beds and 3,000 employees, various medical disciplines and healthcare services are combined under one roof. The campus serves all central areas of medical primary care and also offers excellent healthcare for complex cases in the focus areas of cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics and trauma surgery, including specializations such as hand, shoulder, and foot surgery.

Responsibilities

As part of our team at the RHÖN-KLINIKUM Campus Bad Neustadt, you will take on diverse and responsible tasks related to our medical technology infrastructure:

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safety testing of our medical technology equipment and facilities
• Bring your IT skills to project work and assist in connecting devices to clinical IT systems and interfaces (e.g., HL7, DICOM, TCP/IP/WLAN/Ethernet)
• Work closely with our IT department to ensure smooth integration and functionality of systems
• Handle technical documentation, schedule monitoring, and coordinate external service providers
• Actively shape the further development of our medical technology infrastructure. Your involvement directly contributes to the safety of our patients and the success of medical treatment

Requirements

• You have completed a technical education—such as medical technology, electrical engineering, or IT technology—or a comparable qualification
• You are familiar with all legal provisions (MDR, MPDG, MPBetreibV, StrlSchV)
• You have basic knowledge in the field of clinical IT interfaces (e.g., HL7, DICOM, etc.)—or are interested in acquiring this knowledge
• You enjoy understanding complex systems, networking, and developing them
• You are open to new technologies and willing to attend training sessions
• You have very good knowledge in computer science and network technology
• You hold a Class B driving license
• Your work is characterized by carefulness, independence, and responsibility
