Medium Equipment Operator
Description
The Town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for a Medium Equipment Operator position with the Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety journeymen level tasks associated with the maintenance, repair and construction of DPW assets, including but not limited to: construct/maintain/repair of roads, streets and bridges; set-up work zones with appropriate safety guidelines; maintains/erects traffic markings, signs, and curbs; constructs/maintains drainage systems; plows/removes snow; and grounds work as necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least two years of related experience in public works, maintenance work or grounds keeping work.
- Licenses/Certificates: Must have and maintain a valid Class B CDL license. Must have a valid Class 2B Hoisting License, 2A is preferred.
