Typical Day

It's Friday and you arrive at the office at 9:00. You start with a weekly stand-up, reflecting on the highlights of the week as it comes to a close. You then begin working with a client who is in a rebranding trajectory. You discuss the progress of the project, review the latest version of the brand book, and gather their input. Together, you define the next steps and prepare for the development of a new website.

After the meeting, you schedule a call with the design team to go over the feedback you received on the brand book. At 11:00, you grab a quick coffee and review two new social media posts. Everything looks good, so you publish them on LinkedIn, accompanied by the strong copy you wrote.

At 11:30, it’s time for Sciential Academy, where you dive into a marketing or life sciences topic. Today’s session focuses on the CDMO market, its development, and the marketing trends shaping the space.

At 12:30, you have lunch on the rooftop with a great view of Rotterdam. At 13:00, it’s time for deep work. You focus on wireframes for a new website, map out the customer journey, and prepare a proposal to send to the client you’re meeting next week.

At 15:00, you follow up on emails and prepare for the upcoming week. A major website launch is approaching, so you make sure everything is in place.

At 16:30, the first drinks are opened while you wrap up your final tasks. By 17:00, the weekend begins. You enjoy a last drink and a snack before heading off.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the project lead for several biotech, medtech and pharma clients
  • Define and execute digital marketing strategies across channels
  • Cook up project execution with designers, developers, and ad specialists
  • Ensure campaigns meet agreed objectives and timelines
  • Prepare and present performance reports to clients
  • Continuously improve delivery workflows and client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing
  • 2 years of experience in digital marketing, project management or consulting
  • Experience delivering web development projects with Elementor/WordPress
  • Experience in branding and social media execution
  • Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • A proactive mindset and desire to grow professionally
