Medication Technician (RMA)

Medication Technician / Resident Assistant (combo) at First Colonial Inn. Provide medication administration, assist residents with activities of daily living, and support resident wellness while encouraging independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as assigned in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition and report concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Provide compassionate, person‑centered care that promotes resident dignity and independence.
• Support resident wellness and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to ensure exceptional resident care.

Requirements

• Current Medication Technician, Medication Aide, or equivalent state‑approved certification (required).
• Current CNA, NA, or PCA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to safely administer medications according to physician orders and community policies.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

• Base rate: $18.45 – $19.25 per hour.
