Medication Technician- Clairemont (FT $17.25-$19.50)

About The Role

Novellus Clairemont is seeking 2 full-time qualified Medication Technicians to administer resident medications and coordinate treatments to residents, as well as assist with resident care. The work schedule includes AM Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and PM Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Compensation range is $17.25 - $19.50 per hour.

Requirements & Qualifications

• General knowledge of nursing and health care terminology.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• Patience and compassion when dealing with others.
• Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers or employees of the organization.
• Must be available to work flexible work hours due to demands of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CNA is preferred, a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.
