About the Role

We are seeking a Med Tech to join our team in a warm, vibrant assisted living and memory care community with 31 assisted living apartments and 8 memory care apartments. This is a part-time position for a reliable, dedicated, and compassionate caregiver who takes pride in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Pass medication and assist with self-administration of medication as required by state law.
  • Guide and support the Med Techs on your shift.
  • Lead all team members on your shift as a role model of kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Coach team members to be the best they can be in collaboration with the Administrator.
  • Work in collaboration with the Wellness Director (WD) and Administrator for scheduling.
  • Supervise the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medication.
  • Maintain continued compliance with the policies and procedures of Compass Senior Living, including those outlined in the Quality Counts Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Ensure all assignments on your shift are completed.
  • Develop, coordinate, and perform tasks on the Growth and Wellness plan according to the elder's preferences and abilities.

  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
