Medication Tech (CNA) Double Weekends

About the role

Lakewest Assisted Living in Dallas, TX is seeking full‑time Med Tech (CNA) staff to administer oral and topical medications to residents. Work is performed as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and follows state and federal regulations as well as facility policies. The position is part of a multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, complying with all state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments accurately.
• Observe for and report any reactions or side effects of medications to the licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

Qualifications

• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Active Texas CNA certification.
