Major Responsibilities
- Interview patients and/or caregivers to obtain a complete list of current medications, including prescriptions, OTCs, vitamins, and supplements.
- Record medication details such as name, dosage, form, strength, timing, and source in the electronic medical record.
- Obtain and document allergy history, including type of reaction and any adverse drug reactions.
- Clarify uncertainties using multiple sources such as pharmacy records, clinic notes, and prior hospital encounters.
- Consult with a pharmacist for unresolved medication or allergy history issues.
Position Qualifications
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Massachusetts Registered Pharmacy Technician License.
Experience/Skills
- Required: Completion of at least 500 hours as a pharmacy technician trainee or a Board-approved training program.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism.

- Hiring Range: $15.75 - $28.35
- The final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

- Scheduled Hours: 6a-430p, 7a-530p, 12p-1030p, 2p-1030p, 4p-12a
- Shift: 4 - Mixed Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America)
