Medication Assistant , Assisted Living - L1MA Required

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record
• Assist residents in AL and potentially Memory Care with activities of daily living, take vital signs, provide first aid, wound care, and communicate with outside health care professionals as necessary
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification is preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
