Medication Assistant , Assisted Living - L1MA Required

Responsibilities
- Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs
- Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record
- Assist residents in AL and potentially Memory Care with activities of daily living, take vital signs, provide first aid, wound care, and communicate with outside health care professionals as necessary
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
- Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met
- CPR certification is preferred
- Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
- A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
