Medication Aide - Overnights

Responsibilities

• Provide medication administrative support to residents.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Perform cleaning and food preparation.
• Administer oral medications (capsules, tablets, liquids) and topical medications (eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, other skin preparations).
• Take and record vital signs.
• Record and report observations and changes in resident’s condition to the charge nurse.
• If not trained as a medication aide, facility may provide certification.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate personality.
• Good work ethic with ability to establish trust and build excellent rapport with residents and their families.
• Willingness to obtain medication aide certification if not already certified (facility may provide training).

Pay

Final wage depends on experience.

Schedule

PRN (as needed).
