Responsibilities

• Provide medication administrative support to residents.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Perform cleaning and food preparation tasks.
• Administer oral medications such as capsules, tablets, liquids and topical medications such as eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, and other skin preparations.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Record and report any observations and changes in resident’s condition to the charge nurse.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate demeanor.
• Good work ethic with ability to establish trust and build rapport with residents and their families.
• Medication aide certification or willingness to obtain certification (facility may provide training).

Pay

Final wage, depending on experience.
