Under the direction of the licensed nurse, performs basic medication administration, nursing care and personal care activities to patients according to their scope of practice, identified by the North Carolina Nurse Aide I or II Registry and the North Carolina Medication Aide Registry; unless the skill or task is not allowed for practice by a Certified Nursing Assistant at Mission Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Required License: Must have and maintain current listing with Division of Facility Services as NAI or II and must be listed on the NC Medication Aide Registry. Must have and maintain current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification.
• Required Experience: One year experience in Adult Care setting as PCT/Medication Aide or CNA.
