Medication Aide - 2nd Shift

Medication Aide position located in Meadow Valley. Full‑time schedule 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Pay rate $21/hour plus shift differential. Responsibilities

• Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Complete documentation of medication administration.
• Promptly report to the nurse a resident’s request/need for PRN medications.
• Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management and families.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures that fall under the scope of the Medication Aide.
• Provide physical resident care, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s needs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director of Care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of first‑aid training and CPR certification.

$21/hour plus shift differential
