About the role
The Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reporting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of cost reports to CMS.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit cost reports to CMS
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
- Monitor and analyze cost trends to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public policy, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare cost reporting or related field
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Skills
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems
- Experience with cost accounting and financial analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
