Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to interested leads and preset appointments
- Handle inbound calls from existing clients in your book of business
- Education and advice on Medicare and life / final expense products
- Enroll prospects into plans and policies, and process carrier paperwork
- Run full needs assessments and present Medicare and final expense options
- Cross-sell appropriate products where beneficial
- Manage your book year-round, being the trusted resource for your clients
- Maintain production targets and required licenses/certifications
- Document every interaction as it happens
- Show up energetic, enthusiastic, and excited every day
Requirements
- No prior insurance experience required; Avid provides training
- Comfortable with technology and curious about AI tools
- Pass a background check
- Must be willing and eligible to obtain a health and/or life insurance license (Avid covers costs)
- If currently appointed with any carriers, obtain a release prior to start date
- Humble, coachable, and comfortable on the phone
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Effective communication
- Technology proficiency, particularly with AI tools
- Client relationship management
- Product knowledge (Medicare and life / final expense)
- Base hourly pay: $20 per hour, paid bi-weekly
- Monthly commission bonuses with strong earning potential
- Renewal commissions starting in Year 2 on your existing book of business
- Total annual earnings: $55,000–$80,000
- Paid licensing and certification costs
- Paid training and ongoing support
