Medical Writing Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Writing Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee the coordination and quality of complex scientific and regulatory documents that support clinical development and submission readiness. You will work closely with study team experts and cross-functional partners to shape document strategies, ensure accuracy, and maintain high standards across multiple projects. The position also calls for sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to mentor colleagues while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources effectively Apply skills and knowledge to contribute to departmental work Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems independently Review your own work and seek feedback from others while mentoring colleagues Collaborate with project team experts to develop document strategies Ensure documents meet internal standards and are submission-ready Verify document accuracy using source materials and perform quality control reviews Qualifications BA/BS or MBA/MS with relevant experience, or PhD/JD with any experience, or Associate's degree with strong relevant experience, or High School Diploma with extensive relevant experience Experience in document quality control and/or medical writing in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional study team members Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical trials Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Benefits Remote work opportunity within the UK or Canada Potential for professional development through mentoring and training Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment Opportunity to work with advanced AI tools and technologies Engagement in complex projects that enhance problem-solving skills Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
