Responsibilities
- Writing
- Objectively evaluate scientific literature and data.
- Produce a range of written communications tailored to client needs, target audience, publication medium, and design/creativity level.
- Deliver clear, accurate, grammatically correct, and creative written work across various therapeutic areas as per project briefs.
- Contribute creative ideas, concepts, or suggestions to add value to projects.
- Evaluate data packages, medical literature updates, and your own work; take prompt action to address any inadequacies.
- Manage project resources effectively, including project boxes, scheduling, background information, databases, document tracking, and team workload division.
- Teamwork
- Participate in account and functional team meetings as needed.
- Brief and collaborate with other account team members effectively.
- Support fellow Medical Writers to ensure strong teamwork and consistency across the company.
- Client Service
- Liaise with clients and opinion leaders, acting as a project point of contact as required.
- Proactively follow up for information when needed.
- Financial
- Monitor time spent on projects against agreed allocations and notify Account Managers of any changes to specifications or additional time requirements.
- Universal Responsibilities
- Manage competing projects efficiently.
- Alert colleagues to potential problems in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and contacts.
- Adhere to deadlines, budgets, and company style guidelines.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as required.
Schedule
Employees are required to work in the office for a minimum of three days per week, with the potential for increased in-office attendance as directed by the agency or manager.
Pay
$82,000 - $98,000 per year.
