Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and finalize scientific abstracts, manuscripts, posters, presentations, and other scientific communications for conferences and peer-reviewed publications.
• Translate complex clinical, scientific, and health economics data into clear, accurate, and compelling scientific content suitable for target audiences.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, investigators, external authors, and subject matter experts to develop publication strategies and content.
• Manage publication timelines, milestones, deliverables, and submission schedules across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate review cycles, consolidate reviewer comments, and incorporate feedback while maintaining document quality and scientific integrity.
• Prepare publication packages and support manuscript and abstract submissions to journals and scientific conferences, including compliance with formatting and submission requirements.
• Manage publication documentation, including author affiliations, disclosure forms, copyright agreements, acknowledgments, and approval records.
• Maintain publication databases, tracking tools, and document repositories to ensure audit readiness and organizational transparency.
• Support responses to journal reviewers, editorial comments, revision requests, and publication inquiries.
• Ensure all publications comply with Good Publication Practice (GPP), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple publication projects.

• Exceptional scientific and technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, medical terminology, and scientific publication processes.
• Ability to synthesize complex scientific data into clear and concise communications.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience working with publication management systems, manuscript submission platforms, and document control processes.
• Knowledge of publication ethics, authorship standards, and disclosure requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive clinical and scientific information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Clinical Research, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medical Writing, or related scientific discipline required.
• Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of medical writing experience within biotechnology, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, contract research organizations, medical communications agencies, or related healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated experience authoring or supporting peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, scientific posters, and presentations.
• Experience working with clinical study reports, protocols, statistical outputs, and scientific datasets preferred.
• Knowledge of ICMJE recommendations, Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines, and scientific publication standards required.
