Medical Unit Receptionist
About the role
The Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR) at 6 West 2 at Forsyth Medical Center facilitates the efficient operation and maintenance of the patient care area under the supervision of the health care team members.
Responsibilities
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Performing clerical and receptionist roles
- Facilitating the efficient operation of the patient care area
- Supporting the health care team members
- Working in a 23-bed unit emphasizing teamwork
- Operating in an environment with patients including those with chest pain, pacemakers, heart failure, Cardiac Cath Pre & Post, and other general cardiac patients
- Working in a trial unit for new processes within Forsyth Medical Center
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- One year experience in healthcare preferred
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units

Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
6am-6pm, Full-time Days (Rotating weekends)
