About the Role

Join our 37-bed private medicine/telemetry teaching unit at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, a Magnet Designated with Distinction hospital—the only one in Massachusetts with this honor. This role offers exposure to a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, and sepsis. You’ll work with the latest technology, including telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM (Constant Monitoring System).

Schedule

36 hours per week, night shifts (9-hour or 12-hour shifts based on department needs).

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for a group of patients with acute and chronic medical/telemetry needs.
  • Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
  • Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.
  • Utilize telemetry, Vocera, Epic, and CVM systems.

Requirements

  • BSN required.
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • PACU experience strongly preferred.
  • Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred.
  • ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred.

Skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
  • Ability to prioritize and observe patient needs.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $41.36 - $100.00.
