Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses with precision
• Process specimens
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to interpret results and assist in patient diagnostics
• Work different shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on department needs
• Participate in comprehensive training to familiarize with systems and procedures
• Hone technical skills while contributing to high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Current Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Licensure as a CLS-Generalist or CLS-Technician
• At least six months of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately conduct and analyze laboratory tests
• Proficiency in laboratory software and diagnostic tools for managing specimens and interpreting results
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare staff
