About the role

Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report clearly defined procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Supports laboratory operations by executing tests, quality control, instrument maintenance, and inventory management. Recommends and evaluates technical methods and procedures to enhance efficiency. Responsible for specimen handling, accurate identification, and timely processing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, organize, and prioritize specimens for testing.
• Perform and report laboratory procedures.
• Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure positive patient identification to minimize errors.
• Assess data, draw conclusions, and evaluate methods.
• Support continuous learning and achieve assigned goals.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• State licensure and/or national certification (e.g., AMT, ASCP, NCA).
• Basic computer literacy skills.
