Medical Technologist - Pool

Role: Perform complex laboratory tests in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank, ensuring accurate and timely results. Collaborate with physicians, lab staff, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Use automated, manual, and specialized equipment while adhering to established policies and regulatory standards. Manage daily workload to meet testing deadlines, review quality control results, and take corrective actions as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and lab assistants regarding specimen collection and testing needs. Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and institutional policies. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, chemistry, or biological sciences, or meet CLIA 88' requirements with 5+ years' experience.Minimum 6 months training/experience in high complexity testing; preferred 1+ year.Hospital experience preferred.Board certification (ASCP, AMT, AAB, HEW) or eligibility; must obtain certification within 1 year if eligible.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
