Responsibilities
- Performing complex lab tests
- Specimen collection
- Quality control
- Troubleshooting
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols
- Aiding in patient care activities such as phlebotomy, IV starts, EKGs, vital signs, and wound care
- Maintaining patient safety and confidentiality
- Collaborating with the team to coordinate laboratory activities
- Ensuring proper documentation
- Supporting infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science
- Current BLS certification
- Relevant experience based on market requirements
- Additional skills in IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG are a plus; training is provided
