Medical Technologist II - Per Diem- Microbiology (Temple Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods.
• Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgment regarding the performance and reporting of results.
• Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

Requirements

• Certification: MT(ASCP) or equivalent.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory.
• Required Experience: 3 years experience in relevant laboratory section.
• Required Licenses: Not specified.
